ANZAC Day March - April 25, 2013
InMelbourne, thousands of Victorians are lining St Kilda Road for the annual Anzac Day march, after near-record crowds attended the dawn service.
Crowds have gathered from Flinders St to the Shrine of Remembrance in an emotional salute to our Diggers.
About 45,000 people assembled in the dark for the dawn service and stood in silence as the Last Post rang out across the Shrine.
The American Ex-Servicemen's Association had 25 participants this year. They were led by AESA President Warren Sapir, Major Melvin Davis, USA, and LT William Wright, USN, "Old Glory" was carried by MSgt Charles Small (ret), and the Australian Flag was carried by Charles Csabi.
